It’s called the winding road trip because of the fact that the whole thing was not planned, we just packed our bags and in true European back-packing, hitch-hiking spirit went on the road. The only constraint being cash, as it is always with students like us. Having big dreams and shallow pockets!
Even though we mustered enough courage to take what we have and move on with the tentative plan that we had.
The route that was initially charted out was, typically, Delhi-Pathankot-Dharamshala-McLeodGanj-Pathankot-Delhi. But as it turned out, we went place that we never thought we would in a single leg of our journey, everything just fell into place for us, somehow.

Expenses: we burned Rs. 11,500 (money that was accounted for atleast!)
